Garage Guitar 5
Music is a language. It would make common sense that if one was learning a foreign language that after studying the grammar, pronunciation, etc., a student would want
to begin speaking the language. We have all heard of cases where someone was studying a language like French or Spanish in university but still could not converse easily
in that language. In the same way, a guitar student who has studied the techniques, scales, and work of other players will eventually need to begin work on actual playing.
It is common for students to spend years learning guitar parts by other players, learning scales, etc. and still not be able to jam or play a solo in a live situation. To
be able to improvise a solo it is necessary to practise improvising. This level will demonstrate how to work the concepts of "Call & Answer" and "Motif" using the different
scales into your improvising. This level also introduces Eartraining and Advanced Rhythm Techniques
